This rare, Zenith Captain “turtle” brings us back to 1969. The watch wears beautifully on the wrist, sizing in at 37.5mm. The dial is immaculately preserved. The watch holds excellent time for its age and reminds us of warm, eggshell walls from older homes. The watch comes with an original “Zenith” stamped NWA bracelet (rare to find with the original watch) that can be sized to your wrist. Powered by the Zenith “2542”. The bracelet sparkles beautify in multiple light settings.
Zenith is known for it’s reliability, making movements for Rolex for over a decade. This watch comes all original, and has passed the test of time. The watch shows signs of wear in accordance with its age and would be categorized as a good example of a vintage watch for its time (see video below). It is exceptionally rare to find this piece with the Zenith branded stamped bracelet.
